The DLE 1 is located along the Keefers Landing road, approximately 7 kilometres west-southwest of the west end of Takysie Lake.

Regionally, the area is underlain by marine sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group, undivided volcanic rocks of the Middle Jurassic Naglico Formation (Hazelton Group), coarse clastic sedimentary rocks of the Middle to Upper Jurassic Bowser Lake group, undivided sedimentary rocks of the Lower Cretaceous Skeena Group and andesitic volcanic rocks of the Upper Cretaceous Kasalka Group. To the south the volcanic and sedimentary rocks have been intruded by feldspar porphyritic rocks of the Upper Cretaceous to Pliocene Skins Lake Pluton and monzodioritic to gabbroic rocks of the Eocene Goosley Plutonic Suite.

Locally, a quartz-carbonate–altered andesite and/or basalt hosts quartz±chalcedony stockworks/breccia with pyrrhotite, magnetite and minor tetrahedrite. Malachite-azurite staining is also reported.

Work History

In 2007, CM Meteor Resources Ltd. completed an 82.1 line-kilometre induced polarization survey on the area as the Meteor 1-83 claims.

In 2015, Brian Sauer prospected and rock sampled the area as the DLE 1 claim. A sample (193054) assayed 317 grams per tonne silver, 0.387 per cent copper, 0.803 per cent lead and 0.226 per cent antimony, whereas a nearby sample (193056) yielded 0.053 per cent molybdenum (Assessment Report 35721). The samples were not assayed for gold.

In 2018, Glacier Lake Resources Ltd. completed a 135.0 line-kilometre ground magnetic and electromagnetic survey on the area as the Silver Star property.
